Things to see and do in Inverness and the Highlands of Scotland

  • Beautiful walks along the River Ness and its small islands, linked by a series of Victorian footbridges (the river is less than five minutes walk from Moyness House).
  • An open top Hop on Hop off bus tour around the town (available from May until the end of September)
  • Visit Culloden Battlefield, where the last pitched battle on British soil (in 1746) saw the end of the Jacobite Rebellion.
